Some kayaks have room for a small backpack, Double bag all items that you bring with you.


items to consider are:


  1. Hat
  2. Sunscreen
  3. Bug repellent
  4. Water Bottle


Bring a picnic and enjoy it either in your kayak, floating causally down creek or in a lovely spot along the Rancocas Creek


Dress accordingly, kayaking is a water sport!

The Rancocas State Park Bluetrail, NJ's Finest Natural Treasure "Hidden in Plain Sight" came about because people realized the value of a local resource w/ enhanced public access.  That even here in NJ that surprises are present.   That things taken for granted are not always what they seem.   Paddle down the Rancocas Tidewaters.  Free launch sites.  Explore local business in Mt. Why Us?

Rancocas Pathways kayak livery is based camped out of Melpine Landing.  Kayak rentals (come explore the tidewaters w/o a guide) , kayak tours, kayak excursions, water trail public programs, school focused areas for education that enhances and promotes public access.  Our staff and volunteers are w/o hesitation having in-depth first-hand paddling knowledge about the Creek and its natural history, heritage, backwaters, tides and other areas that stitch together the fabric of the Rancocas State Park Bluetrail.  Paddle down, paddle fun, paddle safe.
