Out paddling one passes under rail-road trestles. Heritage of the Rancocas Creek and Rail Transportation are tied together. Commerce, Recreation, Mail, Way stops to the Shore... A few references to some of the rail lines in the Rancocas Creek Watershed.

Crossing a Ford
Back in the 1840's water carriers would go from town to town in Mexico's Highlands carrying by "world of mouth" issues of day. "Aquadores"...were considered the noblest of "vagabonds". Communications today somewhat the same but the internet and social media help "spread the word" on issues and concerns. Pathways roll w social media evolves much so like the nomination of the Rancocas Creek as a National Water Trail.

W help and volunteers over a 4 year period the NWT application for the Rancocas Creek was submitted. Tip of the Hat and a far reaching thank-you for all helped the process along. Such as it should be today is meant for relaxing....LMAO. Note to self: Check tides and rechek tides; make sure you don't leave keys behind in shuttle vehicle, always stay w the shuttle and don't paddle by the Village Idiot Brewing Company and local pizza joints around dinner time. Thanks to Brian and Cathy...Lots of laughter, fun and games when paddling in the rain on a low tide against the current. Paddle down :-)

Unique for sure. Wanted to zap out an update of activities for the first part of October. Lots of folks on the Creek. Lots of activities. Tip of the hat to Bog Iron and folks for attacking the rehabilitation of the S Branch out at Vincentown.

nice saturday. all day event up at chesterfield harvest festival, followed by evening at mt. holly witches ball. tip of the hat all around. thanks megan for putting it together in chesterfield. lots of discussions w folks about the RCRK and the possible West Jersey Heritage National Water Trail System.
